About Lowell, IN

Tucked away in the northwest corner of Indiana, Lowell is home to much history and many traditions that continue today. The town includes the Jame Brannon House, Charles E. Nichols House, J. Claude Rumsey House, Lowell Commercial Historic District, and Melvin A. Halsted House, all of which are on the National Register of Historic Places. The Halsted house, which was the home of Lowell’s founder, was restored by the Three Creeks Historical Association and is open to the public as a museum. The Lowell Labor Day Parade is the longest consecutively running parade in the state.
