How Long Is My Car Covered?

In order to keep you protected for miles to come, VW employs model-specific limited warranty coverage. For all models, the CPO warranty period begins when the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty expires or on the date you purchase the vehicle, whichever comes later. For 2018 vehicles and newer, you'll receive a one-year/12,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty. If the CPO vehicle you have an eye on is a 2017 model year and earlier, and is a gas, electric, or hybrid engine, it will be accompanied by a two-year/24,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty. Finally, for model years 2016 and earlier turbocharged direct injection (TDI) vehicles, there's a two-year/unlimited-mile comprehensive limited warranty.

100+ Point Dealer Inspections

Before earning the "CPO" sticker, vehicles must pass a comprehensive 100+ point dealer inspection. The certified technicians at Team VW check and test multiple components of our CPO vehicles, including:

  • Check engine performance for starting issues, knocking, and vibration
  • Check transmission for performance malfunction and noise
  • Test brakes for proper function, stopping distance, and vibration
  • Steering tests for noise, effort, vibration, and pulling
  • Update per recommended or required maintenance needs

CarFax History Report

Included with all CPO vehicles is a full CarFax® Vehicle History Report. You'll be able to see exactly what you're getting and see potential issues such as title problems, ownership history, past accidents, and more. With this information, you'll have maximum confidence when you drive off our lot. 

24-Hour Roadside Assistance

VW knows that setbacks happen while on the road. That's why each CPO vehicle comes with two years of 24-hour roadside assistance included. No matter the time or conditions, you'll have a lifeline when unexpected issues pop up. 24-hour roadside assistance includes:
